Description
This is a from a paleontology ‘monograph’ a paper written about a specific fossil or organism, of a plesiosaur discovered by Mary Anning in near the beach of Dorset, England. Though they are true to life, they are often illustrated in such a way to indicate important distinguishing features that make an organism of biological interest. The first vertebrate of each functional group of the plesiosaur spine are highlighted.
